Oh my, you know I thought I had a lot of fabric but recently Alton’s Aunt Pearl had to go to a nursing home and her family members are cleaning through her home in order for someone to live there. She was a quilter....

When I first opened a quilt shop several years ago, she sent me a quilting frame. I have it but have not been able to set it up because of space. You know the real ones take up lots of room. I will keep it and treasure it and hopefully get to use it one day.

Back to fabric....I was asked to go help and look through the fabric. Sally and I went last week and spent a good 4 hours there. You know I love old quilts, old quilting magazines, buttons, and anything to do with quilting. We came back with boxes and boxes of fabric, just what I need, right? It is amazing and I thought I had lots of material.

We are planning another trip over, as we didn’t get anywhere near finished with the fabric. It has been quite an experience for me and makes me wonder what my family will do with all my quilting stuff when I am no longer able to use it. I am ready though for another fun day of plunging through fabric.

More to come later on this story. Trust me, it will be continued. We may have enough to go through to make into several stories.
