The Lady Eagles beat Randolph in a quick three games 25-15, 25-21, and 25-15. They took care of business quickly and played almost flawlessly. “The crowd was incredibly noisy –I was so proud that the girls didn’t let it bother them”, commented Coach Voron. Great serving by the whole team expedited the win. Kendyll Kohlleppel served 9 in a row the last game to a frustrated opponent. “The Lady Ro-Hawks could simply not handle her serve!”, said Coach Voron.

The Lady Eagles also participated in a Varsity only tournament in San Antonio this past weekend where they faced many teams. They did not place – but had some great play from libero Jessie Rios who had superb passing.

The JV Lady Eagle volleyball team ran over Randolph in three games with scores of 25-19, 25-16 and 25-21. Andrea Workman and Savanah Woodcock did a great job behind the serve line, while Meredith Neely and Lacy Butler had some awesome hits at the net. Brianna Rose and Yvette Torres played a strong defensive game on the back row.

The Lady Eagles are 5-2 in district play and will travel to Comfort next Tuesday. “The Comfort match will be a grudge match for this team,” said Coach Smith. “They beat us in the first round of district play, but we beat them last weekend in the Marble Falls Tournament. It will be an exciting match, to say the least.”
