Good Shepherd Catholic Church Men’s Club in Johnson City, Texas is holding its First Annual “Deacon Jack Murrell” golf tournament at the Valler Creek Golf Club, three miles south of Blanco, Texas on September 26th, 2009 at 9:00am. The late Deacon Jack loved the game of golf. This honor to him with the game he loved will provide support to the church he loved. As many of you know the truck he drove was won in a tournament by hitting a blessed “hole in one”!

The tournament will be a four men or women team. The costs will be 110.00 per person and it includes green fees, cart, balls and a light breakfast at sign up and a luncheon afterwards. The proceeds will go to establish a senior scholarship fund, donation to the Catholic Services Appeal, and maintenance funds of Good Shepherd Catholic Church,. Please tell your friends and neighbors about the tournament. For sign up/RSVP registration call The Valler Creek Club 830 8330706 or Felix Bradford 830 868-0226, Victor Tellez 830 868-7547.
