The photo above was taken Wednesday, September 16th and the one to the left was taken back at the beginning of July. Not much has changed except for the depth of the banks and the river bed seems to still be moist.

Reports of anywhere from 4 to 6 inches of rain have been made by local ranchers and claims that they do have water in their tanks. What a blessing!

The area in which this little creek bed is located is said to have had up to 5 inches of rain in one hour in the early morning hours of Saturday, September 12th.

But in addition to that heavy down pour the Johnson City area received a steady soak that we so desperately needed.

Where are we according to the drought situation? We look a little better, but no where near where we need to be. So keep on praying for rain, doing your rain dances, etc. And bring on the rain.
