We had a quiet week this past week.

We have had a couple of cooler mornings and that is always nice to wake up to.

You would not believe it unless you were here in Johnson City, but we had RAIN this past weekend. It was a beautiful sight and a fantastic surprise. Thank you, God. We all loved it.

We do have one piece of sad information and that is we lost a former tenant, Gilbert Roy Uecker. We called him Pete. He passed away on August 31st, 2009. We do send our sympathy to the family during this difficult time. Please know that the tenants of JCHA surround you with prayer and love.

On September 14th, 2009, we are having Bingo sponsored by Girling. Karen Barksdale makes sure that we have a good time and very neat gifts.

The Capital Area Food Bank (CAFB) will be here on Tuesday, September 15th, 2009, from 11:00 am till all food is distributed or till 1:00 pm, whichever comes first. They come to 304 S. Avenue F., Johnson City, Texas. They are here on the THIRD Tuesday of every month. Mark your calendar!

Food for thought: “If you want to test your memory, try to recall what you were worrying about one year ago today.”— E. Joseph Cossman

Your memory is a net that captures most every significant moment that occurs in your life. Likewise, it allows insignificant memories to fall through its vast holes. What you were wearing last year, the fears and worries that were once so real, and most of what you watched on TV — all fall through your memory net. As they should. Start filling your net with meaningful memories that will last a lifetime.

Tenants please call me @ 868-2766 to share info that you do not mind sharing.

You may also stop by the office and leave it with Patsy. Have a great week.
