*****Stan Stamps returned to Tucson after several weeks of taking care of Becky Crider when Becky got out of hospital with a broken ankle
*****Plans have changed for Lillian Fuchs service. Gravesite services will be held at the Johnson City Masonic Cemetery, Monday, September 21st at 10:00 a.m.
*****Shane, Jerry Ann, Haley & Taylor Buck traveled to New Orleans, Louisiana to visit longtime friend Paula & her family.
*****Sandy Hagemeier from Vernon Texas was in town this past week visiting her sister, Dr. Katherine Hagemeier and mom Bitsy Hagemeier.
*****Dave Ripsom’s niece, Major Margaret Bleau and her husband Art Bleau came to Johnson City for a visit on Thursday, September 3. She was in San Antonio for a conference and was doing a presentation. She flew in from Virginia and Art flew in from Massachusetts where their home is. Ripsoms & Bleaus had a delicious dinner at Riley’s Steak House in Blanco and came home for Apple Cake and ice cream. From here the Bleaus stayed in Corpus Christi overlooking the water and Padre Island for a couple of days & caught their flights home early Saturday morning. They really enjoyed their time in Texas & are looking forward to next year. The Ripsoms said the Salt Lick is the next experience they must have, plus others. Margaret is the oldest daughter of four children of Dave’s brother George A. Ripsom, Capt. USNR Retired.

*****Sam and Ann Debo attended the Marble Falls School Reunion Saturday September 5, and they had a really good time visiting with all Sam’s classmates. Sam said not to tell anymore- the statute of limitations may not be run out on all the things they did! Ha!
*****John Withers & Judy Brunell of Pflugerville; Kevin, Kecia & Dylan Hunt of San Antonio; Kelly Dildine of Austin; and Joe Casparis, Lawrence Dildine and Pat Dildine of Johnson City enjoyed a fish fry hosted by Sonny Withers. It was a combination birthday and Labor Day celebration.
*****Chrissy & Barton Hejny from Waco were in Johnson City this past weekend visiting her mom Delores Mobin and Barton’s parents, Don & Margaret Hejny.
*****Jessica Moore also came back to Johnson City this past weekend to holiday with her parents & brother, Jimmy, Lisa, & Charlie Moore. Jessica is attending classes at Tarleton State University in Stephenville.

*****Tip for the week: Use vertical strokes when washing windows outside and horizontal for inside windows. This way you can tell which side has the streaks. Straight vinegar will get outside windows really clean. Don’t wash windows on a sunny day. They will dry too quickly and will probably streak.
