The Johnson City Library has announced an opening for the position of Library Director. The Library Director handles all aspects of library work, including user services, technical services, and administrative services. The Director works with the Johnson City Library Board of Trustees, as well as professional and community groups, to promote the library. This is a part-time position that requires 20 hours per week. The minimum requirement is a college degree with continuing education credits in library science. A detailed job description can be picked up at the front desk of the library.
