To the Rescue

Dear Editor,

Many thanks to Shane Buck,James Dildine,Alton Moreland,Roy Burdett and Jerry Ann Buck for rescuing our cat caught about 10 feet in a stove exhaust vent. The cat couldn’t move, but after much effort the cat was unstuck and pushed out the stove exhaust vent into the kitchen..

By 11:30 AM the cat, Lanny and Barbara Counts and the team from the fire department were very happy with the successful outcome.

This happened Saturday morning, August 8, 2009 at about 11:00 AM at 315 Flat Creek Rd. Johnson City, Texas 78636.

We are very grateflu to live in Johnson City and have such a responsive fire department able to help with such an unusual request.

Barbara & Lanny Counts
