Quilts are used for many purposes. The main one being for warmth and a close runner up would be for their beauty.

Remake your guest bedroom with a beautiful quilt by using it for the headboard. You can remake a room with little expense by just using a frame for your bed and make the headboard by hanging a quilt at the top of the bed.

Place your rod on the wall and place your quilt there to be the headboard. This will be great because you can change it out without too much trouble. You could keep your room comfy by interchanging the seasons or changing the colors every once in awhile.

You can also hang smaller quilts on the walls of the room and just make this room special for anyone who comes to visit. This will also give you something to talk about as you explain how each quilt was originated and came to be.

Keep the room light and do not over-power it with too many quilts. Just make the room inviting and comfortable for your guests. Quilts give comfort and they will certainly make them feel at home and they will want to visit again soon. This could be a good thing..........

Happy Quilting, Janie
