Effective with August 2009 bills, Pedernales Electric is revising its rates to more clearly reflect the Cooperative’s service availability charge, delivery charge and power supply cost. All rate classes and customers will be affected. Included in this rate revision is a change to the Line Extension Policy. PEC also will redesign its electric bill to reflect these changes. These revisions and changes are expected to reduce Pedernales Electric’s overall charges by approximately $2.5 million. For more information, please attend one of our open houses, where PEC representatives will be on hand to answer questions. For additional information or for open house details, call 1-888-554-4732, visit any of our district offices or go to www.pec.coop.
