Amanda (Fields) Koplos, daughter of Greg and Jenifer Koplos of Johnson City has recently received her license to practice as a Certified Public Accountant from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. This license is only given after a candidate earns additional college credit beyond a bachelor degree, passes a four-part test, takes classes and a test on the ethics of the profession and earns work credit by working under another CPA for at least one year. Amanda graduated from LBJ High School in 1997, received her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Texas State University in 2001, and graduated from Saint Edward’s University in 2004 with a Master of Business Administration. She is currently employed as the administrator of a law firm in downtown Austin and is the president of the Austin Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators.
