Well here we are at the porch again. One thing is for sure and that is people have been staying inside a little more than usual due to hot weather. The porch gathering sometimes is a yell to each other.
My hospital stay was short and I will return tomorrow for my check up. I have already noticed a difference in my eye sight. We also have another tenant that is doing really well and we are looking forward to her return.
We had Bingo today and we had fun. We had about a dozen plus people show up and we even had visitors. This makes it especially nice for us. We love seeing others and we love that people take time out of their life to visit with us. Thank you visitors and please return the next time we have Bingo.
Tuesday was our CAFB and Catholic Charities Day here. We love the programs that are coming and helping each of us. Read right here to keep up with the updates about both. The Foot Clinic was here on Thursday, just another service for our community. We try to keep you updated right here for anything that we think will help the community.
Tenants do not forget our third Friday Luncheon this Friday. It will be good!
Father’s Day is this weekend, June 21st, 2009. Father’s Day is a day honoring fathers, celebrated on the third Sunday of June every year. It complements Mother’s Day, the celebration honoring mothers. No matter where you are and no matter what you are doing, take time out of your life to honor your father. For some of us we must do that from inside and for others they can make a call, visit, send a card, text, or email. Father’s Day can be for those who have touched your life in many ways and it might be your grandfather, father, brother, uncle, cousin, or friend. It doesn’t really matter who touched your life as long as you take time to honor them. Happy Father’s Day!
