There are lots of book series about quilters or quilting. Two of my favorites are by Emilie Richards and Jennifer Chiaverini. Jennifer’s series is about an old plantation home made into a quilting camp where quilters can go for weeks and learn to make quilts from some great ladies. Each of the stories is about a found quilt or one of the owners or teachers of the camp. These stories are great and each one builds off the last. She has a new one that came out in March and I just found it. It is called “The Lost Quilter”. I have not read it yet but cannot wait to get into it.

Emilie Richard’s series is about family and quilts. Her latest book is called “Sister’s Choice” and I have yet to read it, but I am going to find time soon. I have my favorite authors listed and when I go into a bookstore, I have them check on my authors to see if they have new books that I don’t know about. These quilting stories are great reading; for summer, the beach, or just anytime.

Happy Quilting, Janie
