The LBJ Band Boosters held their Annual Meeting and Elections on Thursday May 3rd. We are pleased to announce the election of the following members to the 2009-2010 Board: John Yachimski-President, Beth Adams-Vice President, Valerie Banfield-Treasurer, Amy Yachimski-Secretary. Kathleen Spears was appointed as Concessionaire. We are very excited about the plans for the 2009-2010 band season and we will be sure to keep you posted! Johnson for her years of service as Band Booster President and the countless hours she has spent supporting the LBJ Bands.

We invite everyone to join us on Sunday, May 17, 2009 for the rescheduled LBJ Schools Spring Concert and Luncheon fundraiser at the LBJ High School. Lunch will be served at noon to the upbeat sounds of our Jazz Band. The 5th grade band will perform at 1:00, the Middle School Band at 1:30 and the

High School Band at 2:00. Come see our fantastic young musicians and let them know how great they sound. All proceeds go to support our Band

programs.

LBJ Band Booster Meetings are held the 1st Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the LBJ Middle School Band Hall. Our next meeting is scheduled for June 4th. These meetings are open to everyone and we welcome all volunteers in supporting our JC Fighting Eagle Band!!
