“Fall for Jesus” Softball Tourney Needs Teams

Recently, the HOME Church softball team took to the field to practice for the first annual "Fall for Jesus" Coed Softball Tourney.

The tournament will take place on Saturday November 12th at the Johnson City Softball Field. The entry fee is $150 per team. The proceeds from the tournament will support the Johnson City Youth Community Assistance Program (YCAP) as well as the HOME Church Marketing Ministry. th grade thru 12th grade have the opportunity to meet up with friends to play billiards, video games, air hockey, ping-pong or just hang out. The facilities are completely free to the kids. "Our goal is to simply provide a cool place for our youth to hang out where mom and dad can feel comfortable knowing that their kids aren’t getting into any kind of trouble," stated YCAP President, Josh Gissel.

YCAP is an area non-profit organization that provides a safe, drug/alcohol free environment for the local youth to hang out. The building is located at 102 Nugent Avenue in the historic Cox Ford building in downtown Johnson City. Inside, young people in 5

At the tournament there will also be concessions and barbeque for sell. Barbeque is being provided by Randy Mayville and his Holy Smoker! Mayville is the owner of Holy Smokes! Bbq and Catering based out of Marble Falls.

All local churches and softball teams are encouraged to participate.
