We are blessed to have the best firefighters around. They volunteer their time to keep us safe, and do a fabulos job of it, however in this period of severe drought and numerous fires, their supplies are in need of replenishment. In order to help them accomplish this and appreciate them, there are plans in the works for a Street Dance which is scheduled for November 12th from 3 p.m. – 10 p.m. on Pecan Avenue in front of Pecan Street Brewing. The street dance is free, but of course donations will be gladly accepted. There are details in the works that will not only allow fundraising to occur at the street dance but throughout Blanco County as well, along with some awesome plans to appreciate the firefighters. Details will be announced soon…

This fundraiser is to raise funds to support the Blanco, Johnson City and Round Mountain Fire Departments and their firefighters. Shortly we will be contacting folks to enlist their participation and sponsorship, including businesses in Blanco County. We hope that everyone will see the wonderful opportunity this fundraiser will provide for both our firefighters and our community, bringing you all to the table in traditional Blanco County Style to exceed expectations! Thanks to you all in advance for your support.
