Well here we are on January 7th, 2013 and it is hard to believe that another year has started. I did not see any snow, but I heard that parts of Round Mountain, TX saw some. Not much to their account, but at least they saw some snow. We felt the cold weather and staying warm was our main objective around here. Now they say we have a chance for rain this week. Yeah! What can I say other than we need the rain and I pray that we see a few inches. You know rain is that liquid water in the form of droplets that has condensed from atmospheric water vapor and then precipitated—that is, become heavy enough to fall under gravity! Oh yeah, rain. I feel like I have to explain rain, because a few of us have little memory of it.

Cindy Leonard, RN, (Wesley Nurse) does our chair exercises and the next ones scheduled for January 2013 will be on the 3rd, 8th, 10th, 15th, 22nd, 24th, 29th, and 31st. Everything starts at 9:30 am and screening will still be available every Thursday. Screening will be done right after the exercises at 10:30 am. This all happens at the Johnson City Housing Authority at 304 S. Ave. F., Johnson City, TX. And remember this is FREE for anyone.

Our office and laundry room will be closed on Friday, January 11th, 2013, due to cleaning. Kemp and Rosendo do an awesome job on this and make the area look excellent. Thank you guys. We know you never get thanks, but we do appreciate it.

Tenants, do not forget BINGO next week on January 14th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. This will be sponsored by Texas Home Health with Irene Mullins. We will have another BINGO on Friday, January 18th, 2013 sponsored by Total Home Health with Nancy Giesalhart right after our pot luck luncheon.

Happy Birthday to Duanne, Susan, John, and Jerry for January. May this be one of the greatest ever and may you have many more.

Some more fun random facts from funfacts.com. Rain contains vitamin B12. Now I find this very interesting as there is an employee here that swears that she gets extreme energy when it rains and now we know why. It is all that B12.
