Round Mountain Extension Education Club Celebrates Christmas
Thursday, January 3, 2013 • Posted January 4, 2013

The Round Mountain EEA Club met at the beautiful home of Jeanntte Stanton on Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 2PM. Helping Jeannette were Frankie Hohenberger and Christine Schulz. We answered roll call with our favorite place to see Christmas Lights. Of course, Johnson City was the winner but we did find out of some others in Marble Falls that we did not know about. Guess we need to check them out. Sixteen members and one guest,

Nan Litterer, enjoyed playing our “usual” game about Christmas Carols and then we sang Christmas carols. Delicious refreshments of sandwiches, cookies, and punch were served and we all enjoyed visiting.

We also enjoyed taking a tour of Jeannette’s home. It was decorated for the season and was lovely.

Our club’s service project for December was to make a monetary donation to the Johnson City Christian Food Pantry. We collected $250.

Our next meeting will be January 16, at the home of Peggy Aldridge.

The Blanco County Extension program is sponsored by the Texas Agri Life Extension Service. Questions about EEA and other Extension programs can be directed to Gretchen Sanders, County Extension Agent Family and Consumer Sciences at 868-7167.
