Eagles Fall To Longhorns

The LBJ Eagle varsity boys basketball team traveled to Harper on Friday, December 21. The Eagles fell behind in the first half but made an aggressive comeback in the second half but ultimately fell short, 67-53. The Eagles will play in the Faith Academy tournament over the holiday break. They will play two games on Thursday, December 27, taking on San Juan Diego at 11:30 and then playing Harper again at 4:00. On Friday, December 28 LBJ will play Fredericksburg Heritage at 11:00 and Faith Academy at 8:00. All games will be played at the Faith Academy gym.

In the Harper game Jaxon Reibesehl led the team with 25 points followed by Chase Klaerner with 10 points. Klaerner led in rebounding with 15 boards followed by Jade Cones with 6 rebounds. Wade North led the Eagles in assists with 3 and Riebesehl led in steals with 4.
